I think Gura has for the most part. Ame and Ina are not playing a character but they'll heighten characteristics that they have that they think their chat likes. Reaper is a boring slog and I think it's because she tries to hide her actual self away from the camera and it's hard for people to play a character at all times AND be interesting, especially live vs. edited recordings. Kiara is a mess and I think she is just herself with a slightly more bubbly personality, but she wears her emotions on her sleeve, so her streams can turn on a dime and seem chaotic.

While I agree with the ego merge part, I still think some of them have a pretty good margin between their normal selves and what they do to be a content creator.
Luna especially, you can hear her drop character when she gets genuinely frustrated at haachama's cooking one time.
However, I'm saying that it's a demonstration of acting ability to distance yourself from a character you regularly play as, and that it's actually really damn impressive as someone who's done acting before to see someone not merge themselves with whatever character they put on.
Ignoring the argument of whether it's good to play a character instead of showing your true self, I'd say Pekora, Luna and Mori are the best at keeping up a character and/or voice that's different to their normal self, whether or not it's they drop it frequently.
