It's still too early to say, but in terms of hard numbers, around a million dollars in potential profit, redesigned merch and promotional materials, and everything else they'd have to do to scrub Rushia from the company. In terms of long term damages, who knows?

Hololive has always benefited from having a rabid and talented fan creation community who were willing to go to extreme lengths to create content for hololive for free. Think about dudul, tripl3, am Holo, the guys who made those rhythm heaven compilation, the guys who plastered Rushia's face on a hong kong bus. Heck, the original Holoalt MV started as a high profile fan project. And of course there is the deluge of clips coming out day after day. The assumption is also based on that they would have competently handled the situation form the start. They would have actually controlled Rushia in the aftermath of the Miko stream. They would as I pointed out, not be able to avoid all bad PR, but some. There's probably a lot of chaos and disarray behind the scenes now. Lots of meetings between managers and members including en. Explaining this by your analogy, this contract is one sandbox where you're free to do whatever as long as you stay inside it, but once you pass through the border you're out forever. Those talents agreed to that rule, and have been playing according to that rule.
