I think it is partly cause they always seem high effort. Even that goofy green beard guy had clearly put a lot of work into his stuff. You don't see many just throw on a shark hoodie types, at most some aprons but that isn't even cosplay just repping kfp. Pessimistically that could be lower popularity and overly complex default. But you wouldn't see people trying hard then either. So my theory is Kiara has an image as the pretty girl, low effort Kiara just feels out of character.

Same can apply to other girls depending on the outfit. Rapper Mori almost should be scruffy, but dress Mori should look pristine.

Yeah, it's not really a topic that comes up often or is tested in any meaningful way, it's not like they're having to do differential equations on stream or anything. It's mostly just that when something comes up that requires them to do some simple operations (adding some low numbers together, for example) in their head quickly, and they can't do it perfectly on the spot, because they're too scatterbrained what with having to also focus on a game and having to entertain a huge audience, chat goes "haha stoopid" and the girls play off that into it for the easy memes (they know at least on some level that being a bit dumb is cute)
