Season4 Mumei is great so far, from the bundle of nerves to the bundle of infectious just happy to be streaming.

Most people seem to get filtered immediately by how it looks. They also don't seem to like how you can use stuff like the square grid to explore more land quickly and that you're able to stack several units on a single space. Personally I love being able to cheese those mechanics and I find that they make the game more fun. The version I used to play was the SNES one btw.

I would also suggest checking out Freeciv, it's like the most accurate modern rendition of Civ1/2 while being able to run on modern systems and has good enough graphics. Not to mention it has peak autism ruleset definitions that you can almost modify to a point that you can make your own Civ.

I recommend Civ 4 with mods. I would recommend checking out the mods AdvCiv (a rebalance of the vanilla game), Dawn of Civilization (extremely kino historical simulation) and Sengoku (feudal Japan mod). There's also Fall from Heaven 2 if you feel like going for a fantasy setting.

I've heard Civ 5 with the Vox Populi mod is good too but I skipped that game entirely. Civ 6 is nice for a more casual experience but Civ 4 with the right mods has more going for it.

When I started watching chuubas I was pretty lustful and junk, but the longer I watch the less I care about that and the more I just want to see their goofy smiles and hear their silly little noises.
