in the previous thread, i agreed with the guy who said we should use human resources practically, but i also said the barbarians should be able to live off of their enemy, being a kind of MacGyver in the sense that they can repair anything just with their enemy's bodies, which would make sense given pic related suggesting that they can repair their bodies with their opponent's, too. because of this, they wouldn't need any kind of supply line. one of the first rules of war on foriegn land is to let your enemy supply you, but for /meat/, our enemies are the supplies, so we've mastered that. as for the cultists, i agree with the previous anon that they should be like hannibal lecter/the white glove society. idk about the names for the meat regions, but i like their placement. E should obviously be the capital.

On how human resources are used, maybe it'll make sense that the cultists are refined enough to "grow" their livestock to fit best with their use (a post from the last thread I think? mentioned constantly breaking the bones of livestock while keeping them on a high-calcium diet to make the regrown bones more dense), so maybe they have some kind of human farms to provide "ritual-tier" material for use. The barbarians, on the other hand, will settle for whatever they can get, maybe salvaging whatever "failure" from the cultists upstream?
On a side note, this can probably tie to the Aztec-y theme of the gods suffering for the survival of the world. The "blessing" mentioned in >>18286806 pic can probably be incorporated in the rituals and the worldview of the cult. Do our "gods" exist for real in the world?
Practicality should be the emphasis - it's best to try not to fall for the usual edgy pitfalls and put blood and gore on absolutely everything just for the aesthetics.

pretty sure that was me. also, i don't mean to brag, but i also made the comment in the pic with the "blessings". notice it says some of the women are "inspected" to see if they are worthy of breeding before being eaten? that's kind of the intention i was going for. as for the gods, most of them exist in another realm, some (kiki and pippa in particular) come down to us every now and then. the cultists exist to prevent the overpopulation of chuubas, pretty much. also, there should be some of that "edgy gory astetic" in the higher, more vain class, but it shouldn't be presented as some edgy crap, more as a celebration of cultural traditions and what not. think aztecs sacrificing people combined with día de los muertos and stuff like that. maybe make a large amount of their art done with human resources, maybe some body moddifications like tattoos and peircings (AwA's friend is into skin-sewing, but idk what that really is) as well as simply using skin, bones, and blood to make common day stuff like lether wallets and shoes, etc. practicality is a good standard, but i think it should be clarified that things being impractical for a reason is ok, so long as that impracticality isn't harmful. all the buildings made out of bones and skin just doesn't make any sense, and wouldn't hold up well at all, but wearing the faces of your enemies past slain invokes a sense of fear, even if it adds nothing to your protection.
