To be honest, I think that IF an "official base model redesign" (like Nene's de-chinking or Flare's de-lizarding) ever comes, it's probably more likely that the Sword & Shield get dropped completely, instead of upgraded from lollipop plastic toy to something more respectable.

Because the "warrior" aspect of her design is probably the one she uses the least (as opposed to the "fast food franchise owner" part, which she heavily leans into and a whole fan meme culture has developed around).

I mean, the weird mishmash was a clusterfuck from the start and something huke came up with more or less as a giggle (bless chimken for making it work the best of it as she could), but outside of maybe a few "I'm also a warrior!" joke exclamations and bringing the Sword n Shield out a few times when she plays an action game, she mostly ignores that aspect anyway, so it's probably the most disposable part of her design and if she got a redesign it'd make more sense to drop it completely, for a cleaner more unified theme around the things Kiara is actually like/into (which is decidedly not tokusatsu, what huke was referencing here. Kiara doesn't know toku, doesn't care for it, and has in all the time she's been in Hololive so far never made any effort to get more into it, so it's wasted anyway)

I don't think it's that bad. The "man-hating" angle has always been overdramatized, either by her haters to ridicule her, or played up by herself for jokes, because she knows at least on some level (being experienced in the idol business and all) that just harmlessly cooming over cute anime girls is more palatable for the fanbase than her talking about what men she'd like to fuck or whatever.

Sure, what she probably really doesn't like is the sort of men who are pushy assholes, but then again, who likes those anyways. After watching the GuraAme Apex stream, it might not be too bad, but she should definitely have other people their to semi carry her, she should also only play Apex once she understands the basics of FPS.
