Serious answer? Mostly because of Dragoons acting like she was hot shit during the early days. Hating someone because of an annoying fanbase is nothing new in the entertainment industry. The thing that compounded it, whether fairly or not, was that Selen was sold as this APEX savant. Her first APEX stream where she was owning a bunch of noobs only added to it as dragoons started to hail her as NijiEN's star, context be damned. This was back when Lazulight kind of just was there and wasn't really doing much. When Selen first got that 5k CCV, the shitposting started in ernest with some declaring that she'd be averaging 7-9k viewership by the end of last year. This got grudgeposted to oblivion once she started to stall in growth and couldn't even beat Sana who is arguably the single most debuffed Holo in history (even till now). Personally, filtering out my bias against dragoons, Selen just doesn't stand out.
