I loved vtubers at first, but I'm slowly starting to see them in a negative light.

90% of the vtubers I see are not talented, interesting, or funny. They just have huge jiggling tits and constantly make sexual jokes and meme references, and get >100k subscribers on YouTube. I feel like their viewers have got to be 13~14 years old.

I feel sorry for anyone who works hard to create meaningful content, and gets surpassed in susbcriber count by the latest big tiddy vtuber who spouts shit like "down bad" and "sussy" every 5 seconds.

As vtubing becomes more accessible, YouTube/Twitch are slowly being flooded with crap vtubers, and now the "average vtuber" is just someone trying to make easy money with low-effort content, rather than the people who actually made me fall in love with vtubing in the first place.

I worry that the sheer overabundance of low-effort vtubers will eventually turn public opinion against vtubers, and they'll be seen as something that was a trend in the early 2020s but have become pure cringe.

Feels like I'm witnessing the beginning stages of vtubing becoming a "bubble". Something that will get bigger and bigger until it becomes its own worst enemy and bursts.

Am I jaded and cynical, or am I just seeing which way the wind is blowing?

You can apply "becomes more accessible" policy to literally any sort of entertainment in the era of internet. Just get over it and enjoy your favourite 2view chuuba or find one. Also do something else and stop getting distracted with meaningless shut.

I disagree with some things like the problem being the cunny and new western ones. I agree that this a bubble and I think it was made by a trend, when that goes away the profits will diminish a lot but since most biggies don't have a lot of cost to stream they will be ok and it will become harder to actually make a living out of this.

I think the problem is just that this shit is not sustainable, vtubing is very limiting in the amount of content and for some it's actually a health hazard cause they have to live for the job. It burns and limit good content creators while being really easy to get attention because of a good rig, making most of people fans that will change their favorites every time they say something they don't like, making more and more pressure to people that can't take vacations without being sick.

I really like some chuubas, watch their streams and etc but it gets clearer how the burnout accumulates and with time it gets a really boring cause they aren't having as much fun as they were on the beginning.

Sex jokes are the backbone of entertainment done by western women.
If you had learned Japanese when vtubing was a thing 4 years ago you could watch hobbyist vtubers, women with hobbies will always be entertaining, be it playing instruments, singing, playing games. Women without hobbies turn to sex jokes every single time. Stop watching these women.
Or just watch men, but for men you don't need vtubers.

this is true for everything that gains some popularity, if one person is making money doing something then hundreds of others will try to follow with no idea what the fuck theyre doing. there are plenty of talented and entertaining vtubers just as there are with irl streamers you just have to dig though the shitty ones to find them
