I find the sound of washing machines very relaxing and I often put on a 8 hour+ recording to help me sleep.

Mori is still a worthless piece of shit human though, and I'm not going to watch the stream on Thursday. I find it very cynical how Cover is now trying to damage control by shoehorning her in with Gura, and probably other chuubas as well. It's very transparent. I've lost all respect for them as a company and I simply don't trust them in any capacity. I am barely away from holding them in contempt and active loathing, and while I know working for them helped Gura in many ways I can't ignore this knowledge of their cynicism, cold calculation and contempt for both the audience and vtubing culture as a whole. Hololive is a poisoned well, and it was poisoned by the rotting carcass that is Mori. They did absolutely nothing about her, and to me this simply means that the floodgates of shit are slowly opening and that Cover will sell itself to the "general streamer" audience and all the normalfaggot bullshit that it entails. After actual fans of vtubing were squeezed out of their money and attention they're throwing us away. All of this will slowly but surely sink into the swamp of "western" entertainment. Mori completely destroyed vtubing for me, Cover did nothing, and I'm just waiting for it all to end ingloriously in the same pile of irrelevant, bland shit like capeshit movies and star wars and whatever else the lowest common denominators consider "good."

Gura is a jewel on a mountain of shit, and I hope I'll be able to follow her in some other capacity once all of this implodes.

They could write their own program (hire programmers who know how to do it). It's not that hard. Even I, an average programmer, know how to do it. You just need to use the mockup / XR API and the game engine and tie it all together. At the same time, it is not necessary for everyone to be physically nearby, it is enough to transfer the tracking data to the server and use a VR headset to see each other. Head, face and eyes can be tracked separately by something like VIVE Pro Eye with Facial Tracker. And develop a calibration system.

I do. I truly do. She has earned my love, respect and admiration a thousand times over. It goes well beyond infatuation or that particular (and actually rare) obsessive fan bullshit from modern folklore. I'm too old to be that kind of person. Simply put the awareness of her existence strengthens and nourishes me while making the world a better place in my eyes. Even if Gura vanished completely I would still be left with the knowledge that somewhere out there she exists, which makes all the difference. Despite the impression one gets when I go all out with my gentle cooing and gosling posts, I was never prone to things like that even as a teen, and now even less so. This only adds to her significance. I am a cold, calculating, merciless person with so many internal checks and balances to my tendencies it would baffle and confuse you. the problem with recording purring really isn't gear, because the index mic can pick it up okay. like with taking pictures of cats, the problem is convincing the cat to cooperate.
