Just have fun first. Check each weapon at the practice range, check through legends and try each. Eventually if you find anything that fits you and you enjoy, stick to it and you can enjoy the game forever at any level. If no weapon combo nor legend feels interesting then its not for you.

If you decide to get good, check basic channels like Dazs for tips about loadout, which legends are good, and for an inside look at movement/aim and how to get better at each. The bottom teams usually loses those hard, the team on the highest ground has a free win if other teams dont have any angle to threaten them from. If they have to jump up they will almost certainly insta die. Here aquas team was spread out randomly, she didnt hear nor see the horizon landing behind her with a mastiff and died for free, then her team started reviving her and got stuck with an arc star losing another. If they had 2 alive at the end they'd probably mop up, with 3 it would be free. The high ground team is the only one that can heal safely or poke in/out, the bottom ones just shoot the entire time and get into a clusterfuck of grenades, ults and shotguns.

I like her effort, but she started on this too late basically, she would have needed to have gotten very lucky several times with both lots of excellent / intuitive-playing teams and the luck to get several champs to realistically pull it.

Ten hours later, she deranked, went back up, and deranked again. It just isn't in the cards. If she was in this position last week I'd have thought it maybe realistic to brute force her way up but when you have to eke out a half hour at a time to not go negative because teammates died, I don't know if there is physcally enough time/luck for her to have enough matches to slug it to Master.

Between Bloom and whatever caused her break (anniversary of death in the family?) she lost a couple weeks this time around, and then spent another couple weeks not touching the game much even after she resumed. If she focuses this hard as soon as the split happens, I bet she could manage it next time though.

Well, they're willing to make friends and have friends to play with. Even if they lose, the sting isn't as bad if you have friends to share it with.

Ayame, Roboco, and Fubuki play solo sometimes, but they understand their limits.

Meanwhile Aqua is just bashing her head against this game until she gets Master or the split ends. It's admirable and pretty good content for an Apex stream, but watching her lose hope is painful.
It's difficult to get Master already, but solo queueing and hoping your team aren't potatoes while getting 3rd partied, lasered, and out-communicated by other players is masochistic.

In most games diamond is around when people kinda got the basics down. For a predator D1 players are dogshit, for a newbie player they might as well be gods or cheaters; for the average player they are the kinda player that mostly beats them and is very difficult to play against, you aspire to be one until you become one and realize they still arent good. Its all a bit subjective

In LoL i was top 0,2 and i would say on a VERY lucky day i'd more or less make no major mistakes in a game. I wouldn't say i was capable of making good plays on my own either but at least no major subhuman tier errors. The true game begins when the enemy cannot catch free wins off you due to stupid mistakes and everyone needs to start thinking about outplaying or playing "well" not just "handling the basic functions of the game" . Im plat 4 in apex, put like 100h into aimlab as well, and i would say i'd need to grind for like a year before i could say i got the movement/aim/comms down. Anyone can reach diamond, but the higher ranks might require a brain, talent or more dedication than most people could ever have (JP server might make my whole post invalid though, nobody plays FPS there so maybe its a free ride to predator for anyone willing)

That's not what average means though, in League NA Gold 4 is the top 34.6% of players in the region. When you're GM or Challenger, of course a D2 is going to sink your team. That doesn't mean D2 isn't good, they're still 0.65% of all players in the region. High elo players ironically have a warped perspective on what "good" really means, especially in League where people are so cynical that they believe unless you're a professional on a team then you're shit. Reality is once you reach Platinum you are better than 90% of players, you just get better the more you climb.
