I could understand if having people pay to watch might be a bit of a hurdle. I think Sana's concern with B-Sides was that she wanted to practice a few more levels first so she wasn't just dying infinitely, but she didn't mind streaming her practice as a more private session. Oh well. Right now I just hope she makes time to play it some more in general.

Most developers want as many eyeballs on their games as possible. So that's why they grant streaming permissions. However paywalling a stream behind members only limits the eyeballs of who can watch streams. Plus most developers do not like it when people use their games exclusively for monetary gain via paywalls. Devs can revoke streaming permissions whenever they feel like it.

My pipe dream for Pokemon is to have the whole state of Texas as a region. Or at least a good chunk of the five regions. My version would have "untamed frontier" which would have a lot of the elements from Legends in it. Including Pokemon that attack trainers. Legends completely changes turn logic which won't exactly work for a link cable system. Even when switching to Nintendo WiFi multiplayer works the same as link cables. System waits for both players input a command then pings back the results. Multiplayer has to be completely rewritten if you want to use Legends' new turn systems.

That's doubtful, it seems that they're all moving away from schedules. Mori said she won't have one for a few weeks at least. Kronii often posts them so late that they're pointless. Ina and Irys seem to be taking it day by day based on how they feel. Mumei does a lot of unscheduled streams.

I do wish she would just say that she's doing a light schedule because she has a big deadline or whatever. At least say like "Hey, if I'm going to stream that day, I'll have the reservation up by X o'clock so you don't have to constantly check."

Funny you mention this, I've always considered myself a DD before the Council debut announcement
I've easily latched on to Sana as she had a lot of qualities I like as a vtuber, and I really liked her design along with Fauna's
Over time, I've picked up drawing and Pokemon, and I've been watching less Hololive streams. Even if Sana's not streaming, I'd devote myself into these new hobbies and I won't even bother leaving a non-Sana stream playing in the background

Ngl I was hoping this month she would show signs of stepping up, but if anything she's got worse and has shown no sign of wanting to change things in the future. This is the thing that really bothers me. Like ok, play Pokemon for the week, I don't care to watch it, but that's fine, she can stream what she wants. But at least put up some kind of schedule so I can know what to expect for the upcoming week. She hasn't put up a schedule at all now for three weeks. Even if she has to cancel something or move it around I'd rather have some kind of plan of "ok, on this day I can expect this kind of content" instead of being left in the dark until the day of each stream. And it's not like when she had to take a break because of her dog either which was totally understandable; she's not really giving us any indication of why things are so sporadic lately. If she's got some big project she has to work on instead of streaming, can't she just say so? I like Sana but I hate how she's handling herself lately.

There's a big difference between constructive criticism over not communicating with her fans vs telling someone that their grief over something close to them that passed away is gonna cost them their Hololive career.

The critiques that she got over that weren't empathetic at all to her situation, and came across as heartless almost. Even if you feel like taking a month off for a dog is insane (which imo I thought it was too) the dog obviously meant a lot to her.

She's either lurking reddit or here based on her comments from the last stream, unless she has a specific way she ego searches. The negative comments she mentioned aren't on her hashtag and there's barely anything hololive related on the smogon forums. The comments about her being a villain was stuff I definitely saw being posted here. There's a lot of overlap between the two userbases (and don't let anyone pretend otherwise), so I'm guessing they were posting the same stuff there.
