The guideline is pretty vague and pretty much everyone just stream without monetization in a grey area situation, other than maybe Nijisanji since IIRC they have full Konami permission. Due to the permission yab, Cover is too paranoid to do this again. Also saw some JP indies on Twitter that said they won't stream it out of fear of takedown from Konami.

1. No. You can build 1-2 decks from free gems alone provided you know what you are doing and optimize your pulls/only spend on cards you actually need
2. Yugioh is a complicated game in of itself already

the path to get good in yugioh involves learning so many card names, rulings, metagame experience, knowledge of past formats, effect interactions and general fuckyness that the only thing I can tell you is just enjoy lol. it's not a race and a lot of this you can learn just by playing more.

I tried master duel cause I played old school YGO when I was a kid and the amount of new mechanics they fucking introduced has OTK combo decks hitting you as early as turn 2.
Swear to god YGO players have actual autism.
