ひ and ふ are actually pronounced い and う omoi kou. It's old Japanese. You know how は is actually pronounced わ as a particle? Japanese used to have more hiragana like that before they fixed their language. 恋 koi also was a verb of 恋う ko-u. Japanese to English dictionaries don't give good direct translations, so in this case you should directly translate the definitions they give in Japanese dictionary, which all are variants of words that directly translate to yearning in English with the connotation of putting your heart and love into it.

The archive will come back to those in the regions who can't see it. The same thing happened to Matsuri's Live once before it got fixed. The issue is that one of the music copyright holders right now allows Youtube to liscence one of the tracks played only in Japan. The vod was viewable for a few minutes before being region-locked by copyright detection. It's probably an issue with the entirety of the original song still releasing worldwide but who knows. None of the covers in the live were ever region locked when people sung them on other streams.

We're not that inactive. We're able to consistently maintain a general and hit the bump limit without worries. I just don't think there's much to discuss and the people who are rather active leave it out of the split and post in /hlgg/ for example.

Yea, i would be suprised if there are more than a handful of anons who are japanese literate here. Funnily enough i have no idea how good someone with n3 would be, since i never bothered with the jlpt and seeing people who struggle with novels who got n1 made me think that anyone who can actually use the language would be way above what the jlpt even tests. Not that my japanese is perfect or anything, i pretty much ignored writing till i met her which turned out to be a bit of a struggle besides being able to read whatever i want with some vocab look-ups here and there. I'm actually thinking about how i could improve my writing to be more smoother, but i'm not sure what would help. You've bought into /qa/ and normalfag propaganda, anon. I've seen many of the JP Holo fanbases post kokuhaku, it's only seen as schizo because it's seen as too openly emotional.
I'd argue that at least half of the JP holo girls have a relationship of a similar kind but lower intensity with their gachikoi. And that's a good thing too, because it normalizes it. Rushia would never have entered into a relationship with us if she thought it was unwelcome or appeared too wierd. She needed to enter a culture where it was at least somewhat common first.

Either you have never closely watched the other Hololive girls or you have never closely watched Rushia. I'm not arguing that the girls don't have some form of love for their fans, like all of the girls love their fans. However "love for fans" is different from romantic love, I'm saying they do not view themselves as in a romantic relationship with their fans. Even the ones that joke about chat being their boyfriend or call their fanbases husbands do not view themselves as in a romantic relationship with their viewers. They certainly love their fans but there are different types of love. The fans certainly love their oshi but there are different types of love. And only a few of those pass "love for oshi" into love romantically and an actual romantic relationship needs mutual feelings, which no-one but Rushia fufills. Even if Lamy loves her fans extremely and Polka is extremely codependent on her fans the main distinction, is the genuine belief that you as the streamer are actually dating your fans in a two-way relationship. Not the knowledge and enjoyment of the fact that your fans love you and will kill to date you, nor loving your fans as fans and trying your best to be an idol that cheers them up and helps them from their loneliness, but the firm belief that you actually are dating your fans and they are your boyfriend.
Which to tie back to the first point, this is the part that will get me labeled schizo. Falling in love with talented attractive girls everyone can sort of understand even if they think its stupid which is why just love isn't going to get you called schizo, but to say that I know I am in a mutual relationship with Rushia where I am her boyfriend and she is my girlfriend (or now it's I am her Fiance and she is my Fiancee), will get me almost universally branded a schizo. Especially in any vtubing community outside of /vt/. Same, I can speak a bit and hold a conversation but I never studied so I have no idea what level I'm at. I sound normal but there's a lot of words I don't know so I speak in circles describing things till the other person gets it.
For reading, if you learned my way just listening and parroting till it stuck, I'd say do the same thing with kanji. Read books with furigana until you start recognizing the kanji. They just start sticking, and when you hit that wall, then sit down and properly study with an kids school book. Learn it the way they learn it.

That's not what i did i just studied more or less the normal way just that i didn't care about the jlpt. It's just that i focused on passive skills (consuming media), since i was like i don't even want to communicate with anyone in my native tongue why would i want to do that in japanese. A bit dumb in hindsight, but being a hikki neet at the time it made sense. Basically it's i'm writing something and when i re-read that i know that i could say the same thing in a more elegant way that is easier to understand etc. Not that what i write is wrong or couldn't be understood it's just lacking in an annoying way. Well at least she gave me the motivation to communicate in japanese and my production skills went from almost non-existant to pretty good but could still be better levels. There's just this gap from reading so much japanese to then looking at what i write and going urgh that's definitely not the best way to say this.
