A curious note on that: Matsuri and Aqua, both pretty famous for the high amount of dislikes, had a clear decrease on that front while Pekora had a sharp increase, and given what happened to those three particular holos, it makes sense.

No, it's just those who are going to dislike are more likely to have the extension installed. There IS a bit of a bias as to the types who are going to bother to install said add on after all. The fucking creator says it himself, that it may be biased due to the nature of not being able to call the API for dislikes and having to rely on voodoo extrapolation from a biased sample size.
TL;dr take any dislikes on any stream/video that was put up AFTER the dislikes were removed from the API with 2 heaping spoonfuls of salt.
