Original vtubers were common girls, in love with Japanese culture, who dreamt of being anime girls, japanese idols and japanese tarentos, given a chance by Japanese businessmen to live the dream they couldn't outside vtubing because of their age, ugliness or just lack of luck.
But when vtubers exploded, greedy women who would be twitch thots, instawhores or bang SoundCloud rappers for networking started looking at vtubbing with increasingly greedy eyes, not as an object for their affection, a way to live their dream and do what they always loved, but as a stepping stone for ecelebrity, irl music careers and being vapid irl minor celebs.
As time goes on, the real weebs and Japanese girls who dreamed of being idols and who are actually passionate and grateful for their work will start being replaced by ethots who know how to play the social game and manipulate simps better, more heartless, soulless and greedy.
You think Mori is bad? Soon only the Belle Delphines of this world will become vtubers, and girls like Kiara and Pekora will be openly mocked by the mainstream of the industry they helped build.
Even worse. These hoes will use their money and fame to break free from japanese companies and westernize and further bastardize the vtubing scene.
Their boyfriends will be constantly on their streams and some will become literal vtuber pimps.
People will weep and long for the good old days when the worst they had to deal with was vshoujo.

Live streaming as a whole (and Youtube as well if you want to go that far) are still up and running and there are still good content creators out there. In either case, any woman who makes her bread and butter in the entertainment industry is at risk of being a crypto-thot, you can't rely on the character of a person whose life-pursuit is to make money off of people paying attention to them. The only exception I'd be willing to accept is if there was some Buckethead style performer who wanted to use Vtubing to protect their anonymity while sharing their genuine talents without directing attention to themselves.
The real reason VTubing is doomed is because the closest IRL occupation to it is talk-radio and there's a reason that's an industry dominated by fat old-men. The kinds of personality traits that make for very strong radio-persona's are not qualities that are all that endearing in women.
But I probably have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm mostly thinking out loud.
