Cover and Anycolor have different business models. Hololive talents are classed as employees of Cover and thus by law they need to be payed a salary. Where as Nijis are not treated as employees but as independent contractors so they don't get a salary. To make up for this lack of regular pay Niji talents will have to do more streams for their moneys.

Holos get a base salary and they get a 30% cut of the YT earnings. Plus profit shearing from their merch etc. So its foreseeable that if you have a good month then you can get more money than the CEO. Otherwise if you want to just be lazy and not stream then you still get paid a actual salary you can live on. Why do you think holos like Ayame can get away with streaming just once a month or take a month off just because their dog died.
