Kiara had dedicated antis based on mostly lies and old grudges. However, unfortunately the fact that /vt/ (read: a few particular antis complaining about her nonstop and blowing everything she did way out of proportion) had so many dedicated threads hating her made people who don't watch her form a negative opinion about her.
It should be noted that ever since the summer of last year, there have been a lot of people who actually gave her a shot and realized that the opinions they formed were as a result of antis making shit up and flooding the board with it instead of stuff she actually did.

Nothing against your post, just a general observation.
I actually never had that feeling. I think Kiara has been consistently great ever since she started Holotalk and embraced her role as a host. Sure, things have improved here and there, but after she got over her initial slump (which was not even a slump if you consider past gen debuts, just hers was not as flashy as the others inside Myth) and got the funds to improve her setup, her streams were always great. Look up a random stream in December 2020, it holds up quite well compared to the Kiara of today.

While I get what you're saying (that she has been consistently good), I have observed that Kiara has improved lots of smaller things over time. It seems like she really did a good job of incorporating a lot of feedback and making minor adjustments. Often times this is gameplay related, which is why I feel she's actually become a much better gameplay streamer since last year. The best example of this is watching the difference between her streams of Minecraft. At her earliest, she died and zenlossed a lot. When was the last time Kiara has zenlossed? The hole? I genuinely can't remember.

That's also true, but gameplay is not the first priority for a member of Hololive often, rather their ability to accompany said gameplay with their presence. For example, Korone loves retro games, but often she's not the best at them. What makes her charming is how she always shows her excitement for the game she plays even when Kiara for example would be tilted already, which is a quite refreshing experience.
Kiara did suck a lot more in games, but she was always able to react to it very well even while being pissed at the game and as such it did not hinder the entertainment value of the stream.

I went to the one in LA about twenty years ago. I don't like roller coasters so I didn't enjoy much of the experience but I feel like I remember it being cool meeting the mascots but maybe I just remember it that way because those are the pictures people took.
