Matuli and chammers were big deals along with fubuki back before a bunch of new gens continually sapped limelight. 3/5 being big stars was actually very good for a gen.

These days however haachama is too busy with school. Matuli could in theory have been doing fine if she wasn't a fucking self-destructive idiot walking into blunders every couple weeks. In an alternate timeline where she handled herself much more smartly (such as not double dipping on her roommate, pretty much karma what happened there IMO) she'd probably still have been very relevant.

Aki truly is a dud, no arguing there, but she kind of always was one because she immediately ducked out for several months not long after debuting because of hip surgery, she missed the boat on Holo's rise. Mel we're lucky is even still there after the shit with her manager, which wasn't her fault.

Mel failed to differentiate herself from the horde of indies and was a victim of Susan's crusade against ASMR. Also had to deal with stalking issues which compounded the debuff.
