Actually i dont care about it, i have no hopes her making pre-recorded videos ever. Too much work for not much gain. Youtube used to be the "classy idol vtuber" platform, but we've gone past that idealised fantasy now. Twitch has the path of less resistance and youtube can only blame itself.

Free to play games are something else. Either they're too obtuse to understand at a glance it there's not enough gameplay to sustain a stream. Or they're rhythm games, I guess. It's a good thing Nade can talk.
I'm concerned for the future, not because of the YouTube channel per se, but there's not a lot of evergreen content like art or shorter videos to keep new viewers around besides the streams themselves. Does anyone want to learn how to use youtube-dl and start making clips?

Thoughts on the colored design?

I think that the veil might get lost in her hair since they're both white, but it might look better with transparency. Same thing with her inner layer if she takes off the outer skirt. It might be better to tweak some of the colors from pure white to off whites so they don't blend together too much.

I think it is intended to be transparent, the lineart looks less opaque on the veil. The inner layer will be around where the pink 'inner hair' highlight is which will break up the white patch.

I think the black/pink stuff was just some experimentation during the stream. Purple has been the main color for the new outfit since the first colored sketch. As for the hair it looks like she's using pink as a shadow color.

The veil will be more pronounced when she's not in a completely white background, I would think of adding some colored streaks of hair in a subtle way that doesn't interfere with the overall feeling, and shadow/highlights so the hair is less like a single colored blob (I know this will be up to the model artist, but it would be good to show something like that on the reference)

For collabs it's nice to have as many angles in your pocket as possible - it attracts more interest when you and your partner are presented as having some trait in common. Look at Holodeath and Umisea, heck look at a crossover show like Death Battle and which pairings of characters people are hyped to see interact with each other.

Your personal skills are also potential angles, but that's harder to pull off (people have had nervous breakdowns trying to live up to their rep) and it doesn't work on new viewers. If nothing else then Nade can play the angle of "We're collabing because we have the same hair colour", which works okay.

Though this is mostly applicable to Twitter announcements and Youtube, since Twitch doesn't give you any way of pre-promoting your content like that.

In regards to the Badger Question, it's really about the design for me. The soft, huggable stickie note face is just too adorable. I would have no problem if Nade wanted to change the name, even Mujina might make the fan name sound "cool", while /here/ fans stick to badgers in the threads. I do think Name change but keeping a similar design would be a good compromise if it came to it.
Summoners is a bit kurinji to me though. Although it gives me a great mental image of a bunch of small creatures in dark robes walking around, and then when they pull down the hood it's just a badger.

Let's not pretend that to this day, this is her weakest move (alongside the content purges, but those at least had a purpose). This whole thing tore the fanbase in half for weeks, made people rage, people got shamed called schizos, Nade stopped doing one of her best type of content (gartic), and even after her denying multiple times, the mascot is being killed off.
I love Nade just as much, if not more than anyone else here, but I refuse to coddle her blindly.

The badgers were the main fanart subject because that was what we inept retards were capable of drawing.
The alternative to not be able to make simpler fanart is what we have right now, which is no fanart being made by normal viewers. The fanart that featured mainly Nade were made by drawfags or were commissioned, those are being made just like they were before she decide to base out badgers.
Just because Nade doesn't like badgers anymore doesn't mean me and others will be able to draw anything decent.

As for the raid message, that was something organically made by the fans, and is sincerely better than having more "Nayd raid" misshaps. The depiction of a bunch of badgers rushing over to someone else stream also just works.
Fun fact, her chuuba friends also like the badger. When Mikan made a fanart on stream, she put lots of badgers in the drawing, but removed them in the finished version, because you know..
I'm not advocating for badgers to be brought back, the whole affair left a bitter taste. I just dislike the idea of, for example, creating a new mascot or something like that.

I'm not sure if the attention thing is the whole truth. It could also be that she feels she lost control of the badger design. From her point of view, she created this cute mascot, but people kept distorting it in ugly ways during gartic. Even when people were drawing them normally, half the time they wouldn't use the color scheme she came up with.

If its like the current designs, i think the artist should use some more of their own creative liberties to enhance the design, unless they are specifically told to not do it. Some extra detail wouldn't hurt, unless its much more costly. Lolita costumes tend to be elaborate, while im not saying use complicated patterns, just some more material enhancements. Just to avoid you know, big blotch of one color and thats it for an element like the casual outfit has.
