I like how people itt act like only Meiro was at fault.

Someone else asked her if she used standard accent in her audition, and she did.

Just a perfect storm of misfortune really. The silver lining is it caused a grassroots movement to literally do what ever they could to help her and she personally took a TON of schizos to court. But yeah the short answer is nothing she was just unlucky but it also along with Coco and Lulu's graduation brought heavy awareness to the harrassement issues.

Cover didn't want her to admit that she didn't know and that it was an accident because this was the 4th time someone said Taiwan or Tibet that year and they had already promised to CN that it would never happen again.

Even the new info - Coco wanted to graduate in March. Coco, Kanata, Korone, marine and suisei have confirmed this.
Cover didn't let her. It took Coco 4 months to finally convince them to let her go because she had that little faith in them.

Cover is incompetent. But they aren't malicious.

Yup. But she did stuff like that loads of times.
She even had an anti themed asacoco episode just making fun of them.
Another recurring joke of hers was how cover was a black company because they were forcing her to work for crashing into their building and breaking yagoo's leg. So she would frequently leave coded messages in her member posts spelling out "black company" and shit like that.
It only became a problem when cover got super defensive about stuff and they asked her to stop making asacoco and stopped approving any of her new ideas.
Which is probably why she left.
Like other holos have said - she literally got too big for hololive - their managers just couldn't keep up with her.
