I watch a lot of other holos besides Ame. Typically the EN girls, but the JPs are nice to have off to the side even though my nip is shit. I like Okayu, Fubuki, Polka, Haato (rip) and some others. Other than that I'll catch up with vods.
Outside of streams there's just work and life shit.

Either the Reine collab or the Mel collab, I suppose, and the latter was mostly just really cute. To be honest, none of them have been outstanding so far, but I'm glad she's doing them. She's better at handling new people than she was a few months ago, I think.
If the Among Us collabs count as outside of EN then those are way better though.

Yes, it's a real thing and it's kinda gross. I believe they also dislike bomb that one 35p fan who watches her from what someone has said, I've seen his comments at the literal bottom before even though you can see some likes on them.
I wouldn't worry too much about it though. If you're fishing for a heart then you might have a hard time but anons in here have had their shit liked by her before, and when it comes time for Ame to actually sift through the comments (e.g. to pick out requests for her listenalongs), she's proven that she'll read the comments with 0-2 likes as well.

AmeChama wins out because big sister Ame is a gem. AmeReine is a close second because I already liked Reine before the Birthday call-in so 2/3 of the chuubas I consistently follow is a big win for me. I have mad respect for Ame for having as many JP collabs as she does with that language barrier.

I never considered this and it's a good point actually. I suppose my main concern is people just jump from one part of the video to the next, digest the "main parts" of a stream in a few minutes and then move on. Which is essentially the same thing clip channels look to do.

Last night I had a dream in which Ame did a marathon stream where she read wikipedia articles about reptiles and amphibians for over 12 hours, and all superchat money went to wildlife conservation efforts. At one point she was reading an article about a really fucking fat frog like this one and the real, verified Conan O'Brien came in the chat and said "LOL he looks like Andy".
It was so realistic that when I woke up I checked her channel to see if it was real.
The weirdest part about this is that a lot of the information was accurate and it's not stuff that I would've known about beforehand. For example I looked up the latin name of a gecko that I saw in the dream and it turned out to be a real species.
I think this is a prophecy from the future so you all need to get hyped for the epic wikipedia reading stream

I personally think timestamps are pretty harmless (or even beneficial) in the grand scheme of things, especially with how they're done by commenters on Ame's vods. Not everyone has time to watch full vods and timestamps will allow busy teamates/curious passerbys to watch enough of her videos to increase her view count which ultimately gets her in better favor of Youtube's algorithm.

Well, the main thing is that it's really different from Galaxy so a lot of what she learned no longer applies. You have the triple jump but her new best friend the long jump is gone, so chat will have to tell her about the spin jump and stuff, which isn't hard to do but it always takes Ame a while to parse chat to learn controls. And I think the backflip works differently in that game too.

An unironic final solution to the clipfag question would be to make highlight compilation clips, and then have Ame post them. Honestly more Holo girls should start uploading their own clips/highlights. They can contribute to 50% of a channel's growth or more. Just look at any of the streamers that blew up with Among Us; they wouldn't have seen such growth or maintained viewership if they didn't have highlights of their games on Youtube and instead relied on people going through their VODs. The type of toxic/salty stuff Ame usually does is the kind you laugh at like you would at a friend comically stewing after a bad game.
