I have a problem. Whenever I come across a vtuber in a chat or if some 2view indy or small corpo is recommended I always subscribe to them because I like vtubers and I'm afraid if I don't sub I'll never find their channel again, but then I never watch them. Or if I don't like them I'll stay subbed just because they're vtubers. It doesn't matter if they're EN, JP, SEA, or some other language, I sub immediately without watching any of their content.

That's a common running gag for many vtubers. Rushia does this too, no?
Her fanbase does seem very isolationist though, I agree on that. In their threads they seem downright hostile to any new names that pop up in chat, which really isn't healthy. I just lurk quietly until they figure out what they want, but I don't think going so far as to tell others to keep their distance is helping either.
