It's relevant to Hololive though. You have to consider that Nijisanji's unsustainable practice of pumping out vtubers is going to affect the industry as a whole. The way I see it is that Nijisanji will run into the typical scenario where a company grows faster than can be sustained or is practical / makes sense, eventually causing the company to fail. When that happens Hololive will end up consuming the market that is left over. See the internet boom, many such cases.

In 2020 they only added like 10 new JP livers. And in 2021 they only added 5 JPs, which is the same as Hololive.
The EN branch is new so they're still adding them quickly but they will slow down too.
