I remember some of them trained A LOT. I don't remember if it was Watame or Rushia but someone had like 50h of Mario Kart before the tournament last year. However that didn't help much. Putting a lot of hours is important but you also have to study the maps, knowing shortcuts, at what angle you drift...etc

And I agree with you, she does need rest. In fact she should have taken an extended break a long time ago to let her throat fully heal but she just never does because she can't get away from streaming, because it is as much of a thing for her fans as it is a thing for herself.
The only thing Cover really could do is straight up ban her from streaming for some time but again, since streaming is more than a job for her it would more than likely just stress her out further because she'd still have other work to do but no streaming to get rid of that stress.

I don't think people would have reacted like they did if she had just tweeted that there will be no stream. A lot of the comments that I saw essentially said "was waiting for your stream it would have been nice to be informed you weren't going to stream". I don't particularly care, but I don't think there's anything wrong with people wanting a simple tweet to know there isn't going to be a stream. It's not like a tweet takes long to send out and she tweeted a bunch of other things. She should have expected this kind of reaction.
People shouldn't jump to conclusions as to why she isn't streaming though.
