she literally said how uncomfortable she was seeing her roommate account suddenly get thousands of followers. she got where people were coming from, people liked her and wanted to make sure they still got to see what she was up to, but it made her feel like she was being pressured and had to stick to those same fans. Kuri doesn't even really seem to be bait for those fans either, people just happened to realize it was her and the dedicated fans latched back onto her. She intentionally went a different direction in character as well, which you can't say about any other CN who's new characters are basically just their old ones but with a new coat of paint.
