Unironically HoloMyth would not have come out as soon as it did without the EOP fans Korone brought in. An EN gen was probably going to eventually happen but given how averse Cover is to catering to EOPtards it would have been a while. Korone sped up the process

English auditions started on 23.04.20210.

Korone's first big EOP attraction was Doom 64 (Doom '16 came later) on 28.04.2020, which corresponds to a noticeable uptick in both, VOD views and English chat percentage from then on out.

And Myth wasn't rushed out, it was still five months from auditions to debuts.

Korone had literally nothing to do with how fast Myth came about.

Now, Korone attracting EOPs when she did undoubtedly helped Myth's growth. But Myth would've been there regardless, at exactly the same time. Just its growth would possibly have been a touch slower.

Gura is just a side effect. There are lots of better vtubers even in the very same company she works at. She's only popular because she speaks english and cunny. She hasn't done anything memorable since debut. She's definitely not bad, but just and average chuuba with an scandalous amount of subs.

He was trying to say that calling Gura the face of VTubers is the same as calling Avatar the face of anime.
Here's the difference though, Gura *is* a VTuber, Avatar is not an anime. So it's not a good comparison.
