Aki's a bit too niche to ever be as big as someone like Pekora or Marine but it's literally dumb fucking luck that's she's as small as she is. Not sure how much this is true but maybe could be as simple as people just not liking her really heavy australian accent too.

Whatever it is, I really wish she did drawing streams since she is an amazing artist. I prefer her doing that than doing the holoscopes streams that only appeal to a very niche audience.

She always had the lowest subs in Council, but originally she was only behind Bae by about 20k. Then Youtube bonked Sana twice until the gap between them widened to 80k. The bonks were so bad that Sana had to climb up to 100k subs twice (the 2nd time was post debut, during one of her streams). This pretty much forced her off the algorithm of her genmates, and she would have needed Kronii popularity to recover it.

Unless the month she took off had been a case where the whole rest of Council was on break /except/ her, her being off that month didn't contribute as much to her current deficit as the Youtube bonks did. She had only started narrowing her gap with Bae by about 1k before the break, but the slowing growth rates between all of them had already forced their gap to widen to 100k since debut. The month break just added the extra 40k, but she'd still have the 100k gap to clear no matter what. Streaming during that time obviously wouldn't have hurt, but I argue her endurance streams since coming back represent about the same amount of value as what she would have gotten for standard streaming+ AmongUs and Halloween collabs. If she had played Dread at launch that might have provided an actual boost, but it's kinda unlikely she would have done that anyway since she wasn't an anxious Metroid fan.

But focusing on the sub counts as the only marker of appreciation is kind of irrelevant when she's the solid #2 of her gen in terms of actual bottomline. It helps that she probably engages her chat the most consistently of Council.

I've been watching her and my conclusion has nothing to do with her model and more to do with the fact she doesn't collab with her genmates as often as others.
She doesn't do buff games like Minecraft collabs much, she plays mostly single player games, and most of them are things other members are already doing.
