Even though they were superchats, the first two I ever sent to my oshi, especially the second superchat, derailed the stream and the chat. It really depends, most streamers do want to keep up that barrier. It's more comfortable, allows them to stream better.
But there's another option, for example I think my oshi became a vtuber to hunt those ikemen type vtubers. She keeps retweeting that kind of stuff.
