I feel this is Omega's fault.
The girls had ideas like Mumei's history channel idea or Kronii's book reading ideas and literally all of them vanished seemingly for no reason. Despite the fact they probably would have given them some way to separate themselves from every other EN vtuber right now.

Ya’ll forget that anime is goddamn national treasure in Japan? It’s literally carries their economy and so by extension Japanese Vtubers are always gonna be more popular.

Meanwhile we got SHIT SJW bandwagoners in the west either constantly hating anime of any kind or trying to use it for clout/political BS and drama(see the recent Vshojo/Nux drama for an example) so by extension EN Vtubers have a higher hill to climb cause everyone saw HoloMyth take off and now wanna copy it.
