We've got Nyan in chat playing hype man and spamming emojis, and Esfand, another huge streamer who's in the middle of his own stream is actually stopping to offer her advice! Will Mouse solve the issues and be able to go live?

its a receipt that you own something, for plain images theres nothing you can realy do other than just prove you are the owner, but for other pieces of data you can do more, like if in game items are NFTs then you can trade them outside the game, or even use them outside the game in some way without having to rely on the devs of that game maintaining a server (like imagine apex shutting down, you would lose all the skins you had, but if its NFTs some other dev can jump on it and say we allow you to import any apex skin you own into our game without having to even work with EA), its great for indie games because you can have in game items thats tradeable without having to manage payment methods or a server with who owns what, or worry about security of suc ha server

If you have ingame items that are tradable, you have a large-scale online game. You have servers. You need security. Offline games dont have tradable items if they aren't a scheme, and nobody uses torrents, similar technology, for those unless they're pirating. And no fucking way are the internet troglodytes going to manage those stupid codes or wallets or whatever themselves. If you store it only on their system, they'll inevitably lose their files and the valuables attatched to it. And if they're on the centralized server, what the hell is the point? you're adding more steps for a net loss.

all the data is stored on the NFT, it doesn't need external servers, thats what makes them so shit for the environment, it takes a massive amount of transactions to load all the data onto the blockchain. even though i like the idea of NFTs they are implemented like shit, it would be a lt beter to store the data on IPFS like filecoin does and have only a pointer to that file on the NFT blockchain, then the environmental factor would aos not be a problem, and it would be a lot cheaper to mint them

I think Bao, Chibi, Juniper, Layna (though she has an agency now), girl_dm_ and Yuzu all did a good job at having a consistent theme for their BGM, emotes, stream background, avatar, etc. I think a lot of indies fall into the trap of wanting a complicated Genshin-style design and they're left with no identifiable theme or aesthetic that makes them memorable.
