It doesn't really make a difference. A view is a view, its about personal statistics in this case.

e.g.
10 views
4 = autism
4 = vtuber
2 = game

even if you have hypothetically 10% of the autistic audience, and only .0001% of the vtuber audience, you still get more people from the autism tag than the vtuber tag making it worthwhile to keep. while getting an equivalent share of the vtubing tag would be great, its also much harder to get.

In streaming and vtubing, pretty much everyone tries it out at some point. The barrier to entry is pretty low so it's safe to assume everyone is a "streamer". If they're making the time to watch you though it's fine. It's only a negative if they never watch you because they're streaming themselves.

the gray two are brothers so they always get alone. The orange one is a little older from a separate litter, his original caretaker was mean to him and then gave him up for being a boy. When he first came he was very afraid of all the other kitties but the gray brothers kept approaching and trying to play, so now little orange doesn't act afraid anymore and romps around like hes their brother too. they also taught him how to play gentle and not be hand aggressive!

quick answer is lack of competition in isp providers, monopolized services can charge you your house and still provide jack shit for it, i moved to a city with like 6+ different internet providers instead of just 1 and I got my internet up at a cheaper price but the same fucking day I ordered it. And every time it fails it's immediately fixed by a technician at no charge (tho they do limit at one in person visit per week for free).
On the other place internet would go down for a week before anyone did anything.

This is actually something I wanted to ask - what's everyone's opinions on grinding for games. Think of Skyrim, Monster Hunter, possibly even pokemon. Anything where you need to do a simple and repetitive task so you can progress?

For me, the games I'm playing/have played, the entire run is on stream. If I'm playing Skyrim, then you've seen everything from "Hey, you,..." to now. But it can also be massively boring, if what I'm doing is just quick-travelling, sellin g off my inventory, picking up the water breathing spell, and then standing in a river for a few hours to level up alteration.

Or in MonHun/any other RNGod game. Watching me fight Alatreon once might be fun, but watching me go through hundreds of times, because I'm after the 1% drop item? Surely that's gonna get dull

i did make a thread a while back about what games are ideal for vtuber streams
in regards to grinding games, as long as it's not something you dedicate 100% of your brain power to (ideally minecraft or other games along those lines), then you can basically turn those streams into pseudo-zatsudans. at that point it really depends on how good you are with chatting streams if you want to do them

I get why it's like that though. The business model of spending more time, money and energy on complex and advanced software vs the amount profited makes it obvious that Triple A wants to streamline the process.

There's still good games being made of course, but my dislike of the Elder Scrolls series in general is based mostly on how little I care for the setting or story, to be honest. I prefer linear but interesting stories over open and shallow.

Oh, I just have a huge soft spot for the mood the games have. Especially Oblivion, it was my first open-world game and the music just transports me. So it's really more nostalgia than anything else.

I do love story-based games, of course, but most of the time the best narratives are in indie ones now. Like Disco Elysium recently really wowed me.
