VShojo made ZERO public statements about any of this.

For example of these was a huge "hack" and everyone's credit card/other info gets leaked, first thing you need to do is let people know because they need to personally get that shit fixed asap.
Or well sort of, theres a whole triage that goes on, but from the public perspective that happens pretty quickly, much faster than catching the criminal. The evidence is already captured and stored away by that point they just need to go through it.

But the key there is that the victims need to take action to protect themselves and the criminal isn't likely to continue going after them because they got the good stuff. So the victims need to be told to be proactive.

Something like phishing emails can kind of go either way, at the end of the day there's going to be scam emails. So vshojo being proactive and just saying
