Serious question: I don't watch any of the EN chuubas, not hololive, not nijisanji, not indies, and something about the board culture around the EN clip threads like this has confused me for a very long time.
Every time I enter a thread about a specific clip, if I scroll before watching it, I see deranged spiels like >>13353122 that prepare me to watch something truly awful, as if the chuuba made some ghastly gaffe or was intentionally insulting. And every time the video is just nothing. A letdown. No flub, gaffe, yab to speak of. Nothing in remotely dramatic on any way. A waste of time.

I could set it aside if it were just one specific chuuba or company, because there's bound to be one schizo who dedicates their life to over-analyzing everything, and you can't apply reason to that person's scrubs. But it's every thread. Are the majority of EN fans really this sensitive or is this all an act? Is this just performative trolling done for the lulz, and I just don't share the sense of humor because I don't watch these girls?
