As someone who also has a strong regional accent it's nice to see streamers using theirs. I used to make Youtube videos and while people said at first they couldn't understand me well I started speaking more slowly and clearly without compromising on my natural voice and got nothing but compliments about it. V-tubers who sound more natural are more well liked usually, and you can use it to help stand out from the crowd

Umineko is pretty good, but you can feel burnt out during chapter 4 if you read it too quickly.
At least that where I quit, Higurashi was one of my first VN (it was licensed in France with a physical edition) and loved it so I was enjoying it greatly...
I should pick it up again, but it's hard to find the time nowadays.

Keep doing your best. Make sure to stick to what you want to be, and not just what other want you to be. Game choice should be things you think you'll enjoy. Trying out new things is nice to. I wouldn't jump on every person giving there suggest, but looking into whether you think it would be a good choice isn't a bad idea I think. Either way it's more about how you interact with the game, and not just the game itself. /v/ermin will tell you otherswise, though.

It is, I can't stand Apex as a game anyway.
But people still click streams, even small streams, of people playing their favorite game. That's why so many people jumped on amogus after the big channels of youtube started playing it. Sure, intuition would say that there's no reason for someone to click another channel playing the same game as all the others. But the strange statistical reality is that people playing the same game and everyone watching those people play the same game means those smaller streamers now appear on the 'recommended' page of the larger streamers, which gets eyes on your channel.
Exploiting the algorithm for clicks is something everyone does. That's why I recommend everyone also use community posts if they're just starting a youtube channel (community posts with popular content also put your channel in recommended feeds of others)

Use your love of JRPGs to your advantage and branch out into genres similar to JRPGs.
Western RPGs are there, and they're mostly similar. Adventure games would be a great sidestep if you're interested in the story. Finding more JRPGs or games like those would also be a good way to use that interest.

I would love to see you play Rune factory 5 when it comes out. But focus on what you want and your goals and how critique can help you toward that without changing the core of yourself. Game choice is a surface level discussion. Top Holos can just talk and be entertaining; Coco, Rushia, Marine, Lamy are prime examples. Pekora is a comedian who uses games to do her bit. Korone and Aqua are the ones who actually play video games as the entertainment for the most part. How to be entertaining? That’s a difficult question. How to get more subs? Have your fans shill Reddit and social media I guess. Some Japanese vtubers buy YouTube ads; they make a nice cover song then use that as their ad. Not sure if that works

I agree that shorter games are more digestible for people new to your streams. I'd say less from an entertainment standpoint, and more from someone jumping into a stream to watch you. Well, that's just from my perspective, I still prefer watching people play rpgs and the likes. I think you can be entertaining with whatever, if a game just makes you feel nothing but apathy it's probably not a good choice regardless.
