Most manager sims aren't as relaxed as this one so it would be easy enough for her to play without being frustrating from a mechanics standpoint. I think I take more issue with the fact that it's the graphics that filter her when they're just fine for the style and that she's 'missing out' on so much good content purely because she's a graphicsfag. If she doesn't want to play spooky games or fps's, that's fine because it's a dislike of the genre. If she won't play a game that would provide entertaining content and play into her strengths purely because of graphics, I just don't understand. It's really hard for me to understand her mindset, but I'm trying my best here because I don't want to just dismiss her preferences out of hand. I guess I can understand not wanting to play an NES game for the same reason I understand why people might not like N64 titles; they've aged pretty bad visually, and they're a little janky at times. But I don't really understand an unwillingness to play a game with 16-bit graphics or better (provided the game is well made).
I also feel like if she's going to expect everyone to have watched a 20 year old Lord of the Rings trilogy, then she should not be surprised when people expect her to get invested in the classics of her own favorite genre.
