We are at the middle of said season right now. She invited myth to do a whole season with her, and then others from Council/ID can join, and the myth girls can stay or leave.
Leaving mid season usually impacts the story a lot because DMs plan the story for a full season,. and they need to change everything if one of the PCs leave.

Its a game, but it requires a TON of work from the DM, and leaving mid-season throws a good chunk of that work in the garbage bin. The DM has to change everything they planned, its a lot of rework that you're throwing at someone, when it was established you'd stay until the end of the season and you'd be able to leave later if you're not interested.

If it's Ame that drops out I think I will finally unmember and stop watching Ame streams outside of collabs. I think it probably has to do with being too parasocially invested (is that a term?) but I've felt pretty bad the last few months with the streams, with a couple exceptions. Gura and IRyS are always so positive and seem like they enjoy their time streaming but it feels like Ame would rather be doing anything else. Call me a schizo or anti or w/e but I've been a teammate since the beginning and used to love Ame. Maybe she gets better but I've been waiting for what feels like months now.
