I was a member of the old server and the new one and it was a shitty place. The worst things Shadow did there was drop nigger and sometimes throw stupid tantrums at people who were being retarded. It's not difficult to see why she didn't like that server. All you have to do is watch Shadow's streams: she's the same person she always was, but without the edgy retard humour. She makes lolicon jokes and swears a shitload, she's not some prude. I remember mods from the old server literally ragequit the new one because there was lolicon there: Shadow has always been a huge lolicon and it's always been a part of her brand, they were obviously retarded if it genuinely took them two servers to figure it out. As a 2017 watcher and a Twitch sub, anon, people change. Shadow's content isn't for everyone but I've always respected how much she cares about her audience, how much she wants to build a community that reflects her content and interests and how hard she works. Lots of really old members left because if the way she'd get over the smallest things. I've heard the mods left for other reasons than just the lolicon stuff, I'm sure they knew she was a lolicon especially since at least 2 of them had known shadow since they were around 12. She encouraged a lot of the shitty behavior in the old server too then made it out to seem like it was because of everyone else. She'd bully new people out and kick or ban them for fun. She stopped doing that a year or two after but it's not like she didn't partake in it herself. She's not openly toxic to everyone just people she's gotten closer to. For sure it's because of all her experiences and mental illness but it doesn't make it okay or make her a fun person to be around. People are free to enjoy her as a vtuber but her persona isn't the same as her actual personality I'd say.
