After all this time, after everything... I still don't like Mori or have trusted her again after seeing how she treated Kiara in the Takamori Q & A after the trip and after seeing Kiara cry because of her. It also seems manipulative as fuck that she was clingy before Kiara went away to the point of begging her to stay only to push her away and say stupid stuff like "I have better collab partners" later. Even if they are friends now, even if Mori is forever in damage control mode around Kiara, I don't think I will ever trust her or want Kiara to get closer to her ever again. JRPGs are just an insane debuff. Even if some people like playing them only very few people like watching someone play them.
Some of Kiara's SC readings had higher CCV than many of her JRPG streams especially after popular games when people just stick around for whatever reason.
Which makes Kiara pretty valuable: despite all of Susan's fuckery she gets four digit CCVs, five digit (sometimes even bordering on six digit) total views and probably sells a ton of games.
That's a lot of eyeballs on a genre most people outside Japan avoid like the plague.

This was already discussed multiple times during the Pomu and Kiara clips, and the most reasonable/probable explanation for whoever in upper corporate makes those decisions is likely thinking:

- collabing with Trash Taste brings in lots of fresh eyes on Hololive, from the desired target demographic (impressionable normie weebs) that Cover wants to appeal to. This was especially true with the first Mori-TT collab back in the early days of Myth, and despite anons >here seething about it, from a pure business standpoint the corporate suits definetly thought it was "successful" in that regard. So it's no surprise that they are wanting to repeat this. As for why it's Mori again (you might think another talent for a change would be better), well she's in Japan (for some retarded reason they're holding these interviews in person instead of a videocall), and she's already buddybuddy with the TT clique behind the scenes, so she's certainly up for it. Also like already mentioned, the podcast is backed by Kadokawa, and for Cover that's certainly another nice opportunity to deepen ties with other japanese media conglomerates, for future business opportunities (permissions, sponsorships, event collabs etc.)

- from a pure business perspective, collabing with NijiEN has much less upside, and more downside. No "fresh eyes" for once, basically 99% of NijiEN watchers already know about HoloEN, and most of them probably watch as well (you might think otherwise from all the tribalism you see on 4ch, but the normie masses outside mostly don't care about that shit). It also helps that Kiara antis have been exposed over and again as eggshaped losers, seanigs, trannies, or other assortments of lowlife schizos, so most people don't take them seriously anymore.

The other part is that the "designated shitting target of the week" cycles through more people now. When Kiaraposting isn't working for them, general antis and shitstirrers try to bait and dogpile on others instead, so you see them shitting on "5% Mori" or "bitchy Ame" or "Council whores" or whatever.

In general, from what I've seen, most people have warmed up to Kiara. Not saying she's the board favorite, definetly not, but most people can agree that whatever else her faults and your personal dislikes are, she's hardworking, professional, takes vtubing and the culture seriously, has been meshing better with her mates, and hasn't caused le epic final yab as was doomposted in the beginning. it might just be me getting unlucky, I've actually never had many problems with dox channels getting recc'd so the popularity of the channels that are being pushed on me might be a factor as well. The number 1 offender of this is Nick Robinson since his stuff gets recommended to me pretty much every other week, but he's also a fairly large youtuber so maybe youtube just weights pushing his videos more than the random clip channels I've seen other people complain about.

I'm at the point where I can accurately predict when Kiara posting starts. Usually while I sleep. Since I end up checking archives to see what discussion was had. I remember earlier an anon was going to track her mentions across these two days. Kind of seems fruitless now. Just found that amusing since not long after their post the podcast dropped and here we are. It was really inoffensive. If anything I think Mori got drowned out a lot. The fact that discussion is still happening is kind of beaten to death.
