Uh, no? My oshi is great and I'll support her for as long as she does what she does, but in the end she's just entertainment. One day she'll graduate and move on. As will they all. Well, yes and no.
I've fallen for my oshi so much that I simply can't watch any other chuuba stream that doesn't involve her, I'm only membered and subbed to her, I literally couldn't care less about any kind of news and clips of it doesn't involve her in some kind of way.
I see my oshi as the best, and see all over chuubas as simply inferior because I legitimately can't last 2 minutes in another stream while I'll gladly watch her stream for 4 hours straight.
Now I don't really understand this parasocial relationship thing that people talk about, I do genuinely get sad when she doesn't stream but it doesn't affect me that much though it does make me worry about her.
I don't think I even come close to the most normal rushia fan for example, even as a haaton.

Not in the romantic sense, I respect them as their own person and can't imagine thinking about them sexually, it's like the same way I feel towards my mom or sister I care for them deeply but I ain't ever gonna be weird about it.

I love watching my oshi, but honestly I don't really know her beyond what she presents on stream to say I love her. I would easily fall in love with someone I met in real life who had similar personality traits, interests, sense of humor, etc. Realistically though, even if I did meet someone IRL who met that criteria I'd be too much of a sperg to really say anything because I know that anyone like her could do better than some ugly bald dude. It would have to be some totally unrealistic experience where she initiated contact, and even then I'd be suspicious because I know I'm a low value man even after fitness & career maxxing & there is little I can do to change it further.

I try to keep a tight leash on my romantic feelings for her and it's usually pretty tame except for some lapses once in a while but... Probably, yeah, though I'd just call it a crush. It was kind of inevitable though since my oshi is literally my type in all aspects and it was silly of me to think I'd never fall for my oshi in that way months ago.
