Women work for Vtubing because virtual women are idealized versions of a character or trait, even attactive women will hide behind an avatar (and if you seen any of the hololive gals IRL then you would know that they are almost all reasonably attractive) because it works better for the character they're trying to put off

A male who hides behind an avatar is weak and fake, men can make it on youtube without being attactive, and if you want to try and sell sexy, you have to back it up, and even a male Vtuber has NO draw to a straight male audience
Think about the ironmouse parasite himself Cdawg, he had a massive portion of his audience as female viewers, in the thing that drew them in most was his dubbing, why did it work? Because it was over a character that already made little weaboo girls wet

If you wanted a successful male vtuber, I think it would have to be something made out of parody, a trap/femboy, or a virtual model officially licensed from an anime, imagine if Sebastian from Black Butler started Vtubing, or the main fags from Yuri on ice, those people would fucking explode immediately because now women can get reactions from their husbandos
