like when they make regular streams in other language or when they translate themselves regularly

It's annoying, I'm only fine with it if they're translating a guest or a game that's in another language

don't care because I understand both

>alt language streams
Cool. Always very interesting.
>translate themselves
Annoying, effectively cuts content by at least half and usually more and more importantly it never fucking works and always stunts growth, so not only does it annoy me personally it also hurts the talent whose content I care about and makes them more likely to give up or get fired.

it can be a little jarring if you know both (or more) languages, but it's also a nice thing because it helps you reinforce your own skills in a sense.
I don't think fully dedicated [language] streams as a regular stream are a good idea. Like you know 2 or more languages and you keep streams dedicated entirely to one language only, to try and rotate through your separate language fanbases. This divides your community which can be an overall negative thing, but in a sense it also allows you to focus on them. It's difficult to balance that.
The occasional unique streams, like language challenge streams, are fun, but it doesn't work well with languages they know to a competent level.
Focusing on one language at a time for the majority of the stream and occasionally translating some key points is the best I feel. Stuff that isn't so obvious, like "I'm going to be doing X today".
It's a hard balance to strike. Very hard.

The reason why people like Kiara and Baelz are part of HoloEN is because they're literally the YWNBJ meme. It's fine to appreciate foreign cultures, but when you take it to an extreme you end up stuck between both sides.

It’s fine as long as they don’t create such an extremely fake and annoying voice to go along with it that makes you want to turn off the stream after 30s.

i like it. even though it drags out the time, if the speaker is fluently switching it stimulates your brain to also switch

Everyone saying that speaking two language is annoying are either seething EOP who wish they could learn a language or only saying that as a proxy to shit on Kiara, Baelz and a few other chuubas.

They will conveniently ignore Coco, Pikamee and every holo and niji ID. Who regularly translate themselves and/or have entire segments in a language different from their main audience.

Speaking multiple language is a cool skill and of course chuubas should make use of it.
