My advice to you and any other /asp/ is to not be a VTuber if it is a job to you. Almost every girl in PRISM is either working another job (Luto, Yura, Aoi) or is supported by their parents (Iku, Nia, Shiki). You're never going to be popular enough to make enough income to support yourself from being a corpo vtuber, and you're never going to get anywhere as an indie. The only people financially solvent off vtubing were in the game early (HoloEN, NijiEN1, Pikamee). At this point in the game, VTubing should be seen as a hobby that you do for enjoyment with the benefit of a little cash on the side.

I think you understand that based off what you said about the restrictions in the contract being what turned you off of PRISM, but I felt that it might be helpful for the other /asp/ femanons here to hear.

There's no actual understanding of where all that money goes. I'm all for company unity but at the end of the day they're still competing for a limited talent pool, and if we're just going to be so blatantly inferior to everyone else in every aspect then it's going to really fucking hurt in the future. Some of this would be passable if Prism were actually on the level of Hololive and guaranteed you huge numbers, but it isn't and it doesn't.

Gen 2 has Rita who's so pure that she's working towards her dream of being a full time idol despite membership being the thing that would allow her that freedom. Luto's has the most barons so she's happy. Gen 3 has Pina who's doing it as a hobby, Nia who's already struggling to grow, Shiki who's earning a ton of money so leaving would endanger her IRL expenses.
