Welcome to VShojo+! A thread to discuss VShojo, and any vtubers frequently associated with them.

The previous thread was made under the assumption that we were only 2 hours into what was sure to be a 4-5 hour Nyan and Mouse stream. Unfortunately due to certain complications that stream was cut short maybe half an hour after the thread was made. And then the following morning has become nothing but Apex. Just loads of it. Froot and Vei are both doing it, and are trying to rank up after an awful trio performance yesterday. Luckily things are just starting to pick up so maybe it'll be salvageable! Pink Satan and purple AI should help fill out a slow morning as well.

So let's just hope for the best! Keep things comfy until then by remembering to ignore bait, and be excellent to your fellow posters.

Mel - Mentioned some time ago the dev of Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion would update the game just for her to remove flashing so she could actually play it. And now it's done and is on her schedule today.
Mouse? - Schedule says a Connor collab today, but haven't seen much at all from her since last night. Normally she'd still be active on Twitter and stuff but aside from faving Aethelstan's tweet celebrating 10k she's been quiet. Might be sick, or might just be busy. Who knows.
Silver? - No schedule from her yet, but she's pretty normal on Wednesdays at this point. Unless I missed an update about her taking the week off or something.

Zen pretty much never streams this late, Froot and Vei already streamed, and Hime will be back Sunday.

That's a cultural thing, Japanese talent agencies treat talent like an endlessly renewable resource to just toss out when the numbers dip. The few big name actors, musicians, seiyuus and tubers you hear about are the diamonds in the rough of a brutally efficient corporate human meat grinder.

One of the big reasons VShojo came to be was because there was a handful of Western indies who hit it big on their own due to just being damn good at it who had absolutely no interest in signing on with a corporation following the Japanese model of talent management.

Don't throw things at me because I do love our little trash panda, but given her 4/20 stream and openness about her big struggles with mental health and her shaky living situation, VShojo's management probably wouldn't approach her like they would Haruka despite her large number of followers, closeness with the girls and quality chuuba content. They'd make her go through the audition process to judge her professionalism off stream and Snuffy's health issues preventing her from getting her application in on time.

She's hopefully not going anywhere anyway, so fingers crossed that she can get her life sorted out and get an invite or audition later.
