I absolutely understand the desire to improve yourself to meet the standards of your idealized model, especially when health and fitness is involved. It was one of the reasons why I went for a relatively simple and schlubby model since I felt it was a better representation of my current self. I did not feel as if I had 'earned' the right to a more attractive and aesthetically pleasing self-portrait if I did not meet those standards. So I told myself that I would only upgrade to a better looking model if I tried to look as close to its depiction as possible, which I am currently working towards. I managed to get lucky. I found a really good furry artist that's never done Live2D before. I really liked their art and decided to shoot my shot. She actually agreed to do it. I'm not sure, I like seeing people do gimmick runs of games they're good at I guess.

It gets kind of upsetting after a while. I remember watching Sephira Su try to beat a cuphead boss for a few hours and she was trying so hard but didn't want to give up and you could tell she was getting really upset.
Picky's Mister Mosquito stream was also similarly painful.

I like seeing people beat hard challenges but there's a length of time where it just gets really stressful for me to watch. I think if it's not a challenge/speedrun attempt it's better to just switch games and come back next time or beat it off stream.

did a nuzlocke stream recently. It was my longest stream, went for nearly 20 hours solid.

two things:
1 - it's high stakes. it's rare to see a permadeath game, and getting swept by an op gym can ruin the best planning.

2 - chat gets involved. you have to name pokemon. the chatters who named pokemon after themselves stuck around for obscene lengths of time during the stream. i was able to talk to them directly about how good they were in game. how they were saving my hide. so they kept chatting, praising each other, and cheering each other on when they got crits. it was fantastic energy (until they went to bed)
