What with the downgrade with V-shojo.
I've seen Melody camwhoring with that crappy 2D model that look coming from a cheap hentai VN.
Not like i ever fapped to her koikatsu model, but damn... at least she bothered using motion tracking. Then i checked Silvervale that i considered the most expressive youtuber and i found that shitty thing in pic related.
What i considered one of V-shojos selling points was the fact that they had expressive models able to move and making a variety of facial expressions. Why this step backward?

L2D is more expensive than 3D sometimes multiple times and you pay that to look like an anime protagonist, not a cheap videogame. The only thing that even high quality 2D models struggle with is the mouth movement really while eyes look often great.

Both of the models are good for different things. Much like 30fps with makes Genshin Impact look like a movie, and 60 is good for competitive performance. Same with keyboard and mouse vs. controller. As long as she has a secure future of permaglow from supercummin that's all I need.

In case of Melody it's just natural thing, lol. Be fucked by 10k+ people everyday or so for almost 2 years and you'll have enough, too. It does not help that her VR tech is quite complex and while we can argue that Digi was an asshole he was pretty much 24/7 maintenance worker for Melody and booting him out left her without someone that can reliably and quickly troubleshoot her items. That's why after Digi drama her lewd streams became so infrequent, low quality and ultimately she focused more on Twitch stuff, probably.
