I never really looked into the Krimbo crew that much (specifically Coqui and krimbo) but it's incredible how fast they grew and how quickly they got partnered. That's even with barely any /here/ viewers too.

Recently I've been listening to vods from an ASMR chuuba named Ikumi and they've been nice to listen to while falling asleep. Admittedly I haven't had any problems sleeping after I started taking melatonin. I used to listen to a lot of lofi music mixes on youtube too.

Judging by the numbers, Meat, Sigrid/bird and Rummy probably aren't far off partner too though rummy would need to stream more.
It really shows how a "Group" should work, all supporting each other, raiding each other and general support. Sadly they have a couple weak links, but it isn't really hurting having them in the crew.

I watch youtube videos until I pass out, usually. Sometimes chuuba vods, but twitch melts my laptop even in vod mode so not so much. They're usually RTS casts, sometimes tournaments.

No, I sleep best in pure silence. However, I do well with the sounds of rain and weather, which is good because the wife's combination of tinnitus AND otosclerosis means she can't sleep for shit without noise going, and unfortunately the sounds of voices and most music wake me up instead of putting me to sleep. However, lots of chuubas have some comfy BGM selections, so I can imagine that using those to sleep would help.

Being a eurofriend, people like Hal are perfect for falling asleep. If he's not on, I'll watch others who're painting (TK's been doing some recently), Karaokes, ASMR or just whatever interesting is on (I can fall asleep to metal, so volume barely bothers me). I started listening to JP chuuba ASMR that people in the thread recommended and it has been really nice, but not for sleeping. I still have trouble sleeping. Maybe melatonin is the key.

Yeah, they have amazing group ethic. I wish I knew how to vinegar Twitter reach, but my Twitter game is admittedly very weak. I also forgot to mention the many IronMouse raids to Krimbo might have also been a factor. He and the gang got featured on her deep dives I think 3 times and he got 3? raids from her, I believe. So that might help helped him grow faster. He also does a lot of Twitter engagement and has a following from being a fairly popular artist. That is besides their great designs and being really entertaining and fun streamers.

I also have a lot of trouble sleeping to loud sounds. I have woken up from raids before. I typically sleep in silence or rain sounds but I find it easy to fall asleep during a chill stream.

I have been avoiding reading streams because I really felt bad not finishing I, Robot but I might do some late night gentle reading streams on YouTube or similar. Reading helps me relax but I have no motivation to read by myself...

Begrudgingly tolerated isn't the same as generally tolerated. Everyone wishes he'd leave including some of the talent. But a growing streamer can't just say "fuck off no one likes you" and ban them from everything for no tangible reason. Otherwise you either feed the rrat that your community is an impenetrable circlejerk, encourage the members of the community who do want it to be an impenetrable circlejerk, or create another schizo as fuck anti who thinks it's their mission from god to destroy you because you missed a superchat that one time. Professionally, everyone biting their lip and hoping the problem goes away or gets better is the right call even if it's not that simple for the sake of the community.

Because it significantly more work to coordinate. You need to have a friend that you play off of very well, cares about vtubers, wants to BECOME a vtuber, wants to dedicate the time into streaming, etc etc. It's not as easy as just "OK we're going live now." but that's why most of the top streamers and vtubers are part of groups whether unofficial or not. Thank you! I'm very excited too, and funnily enough, a bit nervous. I never get performance nerves when I'm singing in front of an audience, or recording, or streaming, haven't for years and years now, but I feel that bit of a butterfly in my stomach when I think about getting to see people react to this in real-time. There's been a ton of work to get to this point, and lots of people have stepped outside of their comfort zone to try something new. I'm very proud of everyone's hard work, and I hope that it was a positive experience for everyone.
