Yeah. The new song's view counts seem to be a bit weird, though. It has only been four days so it's hard to say, but it has been gaining similar amount of views everyday while most songs (from both Niji, Holo and other groups) tend to start dropping off after release. I'm always curious about what the true viewership of the EN branches is like since the youtube ccv change happened shortly after HoloEN dropped. We saw a few months of myth but the data could be somewhat skewed because of debut buff and general curiosity. Assuming adblockers affect view count, a quick google search gives a number around 25-26% of users in the US are using an adblocker. That number is probably higher among the vtuber audience.

They got some top composers for them but the MVs couldn't have been that much. I don't know how to calculate how much ads were accurately but it wasn't too much, $2k per 100k views or clicks. I don't think Anycolor lost much on ads. It is interesting to note they didn't have ads for Ethyria's song. I am not sure the ads cost too much must have cost. Ethyria's is sitting at 418k views. Their song also seems to have a better engagement per viewer ratio.

I do find it suspicious the company's name changed from いちから(One Color) to Anycolor on the same day Lazu Light debuted. I will note most JP Niji fans were not expecting HoloEN numbers. You only saw the "disappointment" in Niji anti threads.

In merch they have x, with a Niji cut of y. I don't know how much NijiEN has pushed so far.

Imo, one of the main differences between Holo and Niji's collabs with international branches is the impression the JP viewers have on these branches.
Niji overseas branches are <1000 CCV for most part and NijiEN is like low to mid-tier NijiJP, so they're viewed as cute "little brother/little sister" branches that the JP branch is boosting.
HoloID is kind of like that too, but HoloEN is treated like this mythical international celebrity branch by JP members.
Just look at how they acted like they saw a celebrity when they finally met Gura during Usaken fes and how many of them were wow-ed by HoloEN smashing sub milestones. "Kari-chan kakkoii" is not a meme to them.
That excitement from them radiates to their viewers, which generates overall hype for international interactions.

I decided to do a bit of a dive into what JP Nijisanjii fans think of foreigners since the cross-pollination thing was on my mind. It was mostly okay. I did notice some bitterness from Nijisanji having a bad rep with foreigners and that seems to be their reasoning as to why Nijisanji never bloomed over here like Hololive. Most people in these threads just think it is Hololive being easier to understand and winning the algorithm battle.

For most eop niji in general is sort of newb unfriendly. There are so many who knows where to start. Their names and streams are often not in English and there are rarely real time TLs and they lack clips. NijiEN is an option but they seem to have a much weaker connection to their biggest JP talents. Once you watch a Hololive clip it’s a short path to their most popular music and clip compilations. You can just leave it on auto play and get a ton of English language content even of heavy hitters like Pekora, Miko, Fubuki, etc

This really. I can't recall how many times I try looking for a specific Nijisanji talent but not be given their channel.
For example, to search for Debiru's channel, I have to search "Debiru Ch" or "Debiru Ch Clips", click on one of the clips given to me by Youtube's search engine, then look for Debiru's channel link in the description. If they don't have it, I have to click on a different clip

As others said, there are overlapping streams now. Her stream was only at 7.2k when there wasn't any other Holo or Niji streams around. It dropped to 6.5k when Ina started, then dropped further after Pomu started (didn't check if her number increased when Ina ended her stream). There are a bunch of streams going on now, so it's understandable that it dropped to 5.6k
