Energy wise do you prefer normal timeslot Ame or late night Ame?
I can't help but think she associates waking up and being tired to streaming - associating unpleasant feelings to things you do is a thing all people do.
She'd be significantly happier if she streamed at late night, even if it would fuck over part of her established fanbase.
Being PST-based and a night owl is a rough combination.

Its "normal" for her for god knows how long, a decade+ maybe. If she's your oshi you should know no matter what she does she'll wake up just before her streams even if she "fixes" her schedule for a few days.
This is fine most of the time but you can deny she's more energetic if she gets full sleep and streams at late night.

Also, while many days she wakes up after 3p.m before stream, many other days she wakes up at noon and her usual time is perfect. I actually think this situation is the most usual. While she now has a streak of a few weeks with a fucked schedule, most of the time she was on a "normal" schedule (if we consider waking up at noon to be normal).
Also no matter when she wakes up, she always streams at the same relative times: 2-5-8 maybe 10 hours after waking up, no more. she seems to like to continue her day after streaming, rather than ending it streaming. If her "unbroken" sleep schedule is to get up at noon and go to bed at 5 a.m., she probably doesn't want to stream too late at night for that reason

Her normal timeslot is fine.
You're used to her occasionally being tired or sleepy during her usual timeslot because it's a far more common timeslot, so there's more room for variance, if that makes sense. Off the top of my head, there was a day where her 5pm EST Detective Diaries was super genki and fun, and then her subsequent Mario 64 at 9pm(?) after she took a nap was rough because she suddenly felt bad. That can happen sometimes. I will say that if she pushed her usual timeslot back just an hour or two then maybe it'd be a little more consistent, but that breaks the Ina -> Ame -> Gura flow that they seem to enjoy.
Long indie game streams like A Short Hike/Later Alligator/Return of the Obra Dinn, other medium to long streams of her best long-form playthroughs like most of Outer Wilds/DOOM/LA Noire/Mario Galaxy, other streams that she typically wants most people to catch like nature reviews or Q&A, etc, have typically been around her normal timeslot, if not a bit earlier like some of DOOM (which she streamed at 3pm EST once) or a bit later like some of Outer Wilds (if memory serves me, too lazy to double-check). That's most of her best content. Late night Ame can offer a different vibe that's very nice of course, so she should keep it around as an alternate timeslot.

Newfag here. Got into the vtuber thing when Myth started and blew up over the internet. Mostly a Gura fan.
Recently I realized something. I had considered Ame my least favorite EN Holo. But I've enjoyed every single collab stream I've seen her in. Some are some of my favorite streams.
So I stopped and thought "Why don't I like Ame again?"
Realised it was when I first encountered her, with the early gura minecraft collabs, and thought she was great, and a soft gentle type, so decided to watch a solo Ame stream. Forget what it was, but it was pretty heavy on the gremlin, rage at chat and other players. Instant breaking of impression, and never really gave her another chance.
But the collab streams have been good, and I'm going to give her another shot.
So, can you Teamates recommend a couple of the best Ame solo vods to go watch. Not interested in clips, some streams that are pretty much golden from start to end.

you are looking for gameplay. If you are more interested in her creative side you should check out Wupa Wunday, Smol Ame visits the office and Ame in the A.M.
But if her raging is the only thing that puts you off, you can basically watch any stream without mulitplayer games and platformers (and Witcher 3).

The streams the other anons have said are good starting points for Ame. Although, it's interesting that you enjoy her collab content in comparison to the rest of her stuff. Most agree that she's very reserved in collabs and doesn't really say much if she doesn't have to because she doesn't have confidence in herself when she does them. I really do want to suggest Later Alligator, Donut County, and/or a Short Hike. Any of them really, they're all short and sweet indie games that are fun to watch as it was fun for her to play, and Ame voices all the dialogue for each of the characters which is both charming and adorable. They're a mystery game, a puzzle game, and an adventure game respectively. These are all self-contained and wrapped up in single parts so you can at least get through one of them in like an afternoon or something.
If you're willing to watch something a bit longer and a bit more involved, her Obra Dinn streams are also pretty great. I believe it's done in two or three very long streams but she really gets into it and each session goes for like hours; it's also a mystery game, about figuring out what happened aboard a ship where the crew has either died or gone missing.
Best part is that two of these are also thematically appropriate. Later Alligator is about an alligator detective, while members of Ame's channel are called investigators, and Obra Dinn is about solving a mystery aboard a ship while using a time traveling pocket watch to take a glimpse into the past to see what happened: completely perfect for the time traveler detective.
In any case, hope you enjoy one of these, I do think they're some of Ame's best streams.

On that last note, I think this recent Minecraft arc has now left little to be desired with regular collabs. Probably because the thing I enjoy the most about collabs is when they talk and have banter with each other, which is what's been happening in Minecraft recently. I do think the choice of game is a factor too. The We Were Here games kind of mean you and your partner have to focus on the game and talk about what's going on because of just how it's designed. I think that's what made the zatsu at the end with Kiara so good: they didn't have to talk about the game anymore and they could just chat.
So basically, a good collab game should be one where they can talk about what to do in the game and focus on that while also still being able to chat about stuff, which is what makes all the impromptu Minecraft collabs recently especially nice.
At the least the We Were Here game will be over after this, and then Ame could hopefully play other collab games.

Ame has barely appeared during the minecraft arc though hasn't she? and I'm only now catching up to her last portal stream, but midway though it gets hijacked by kronii and mumei, and ame goes basically silent (at least on the part I'm at, maybe she talks more later).
It even seems like she actually talked way more on the one she was not streaming.

Trolling her about the game she's playing is a different story because it sometimes leads to funny reactions. The main issue with audio is how many variables there are. People are listening at various volumes, with different speakers and headphones so it's hard for the feedback to be consistent.

The issue with the Wii U library is that if you narrow down the games that are fun to stream, have not already been ported and played by other Holos (Bayonetta, Wonderful 101) and games that Ame will enjoy. There really isn't that many games that she would like to stream.
