So regardless of how much chemistry or how talented Niji EN is, Niji EN is by right "not as successful" as Holo EN, as you can't quantify chemistry or talent, you go with numbers.

Really, this sums up the true situation. Most of Hololive are lone wolves without a care. Those on good terms with each other may 'occasionally' collab. They are actors in truest form. They play games not because they get joy from the game. The case is that gameplay draws an audience. While those in Nijisanji seem to enjoy their roles more fully.

Why don't they stream more often? The answer is most see this as job. They do just enough of to line the pockets until they need the infusion of cash. Why don't they stream with outsiders? Because that isn't what makes money, even if such an event would entertain the audience, there is the risk the audience may leave the actor. I actually agree. I'm not actually too sure how self aware she is of some of the bratty stuff she does is. She does seem to tone it down and change it around based on the people she's with to some degree, so she can clearly read the room and has some self awareness of it (she has also said I think during a donation reading segment that she knows she can be hard/annoying to work with or something along those lines iirc).

But the example I just gave where she set up the followup collab with Kanae on stream. It not only puts him in an awkward spot because it could make him seem like a bad guy to turn her down on stream, but there was a language barrier between them, which further means that if he didn't want to do it again it would have been hard for him to communicate that in a polite way (which would already be a hard thing to do without the language barrier). She regularly does stuff like this, though often much more trivial/harmless but still not really behavior that I would call good or even generally acceptable. Though in a way, she does this stuff in such a bratty way, where a collab partner could respond in quite a hostile way to her and it probably wouldn't be a big deal. I could almost imagine someone straight up saying something like "no, you're annoying" and outside of people who do anything they can do create drama out of nothing, most people would probably say they were in their right to say that and Selen would probably play it off just fine (would most likely literally laugh it off).

Though with that said, it's part of her appeal and it's why I like watching her and her collabs have been some of the best collabs I have seen in my opinion. But I stand by what I said, and that's that it "could be interesting". I would rather that than someone smaller streamer doing a collab with someone like Gura, where the smaller streamer is too intimidated and Gura would probably just be awkwardly trying to interact while probably suffering from massive feelings of imposter syndrome and trying not to be intimidating.

From a business standpoint, very doubtful. The only reason why NijiJP and HoloJP started collabing was because Hololive was a spec of dust compared to Nijisanji back in 2019. It was the equivalent of Moona trying to give some shine to her 2view sisters. The 2021 landscape is completely different. Hololive is now a close 2nd to Niji locally and way bigger than them internationally. NijiJP still does collabs with HoloJP but sparingly and usually between chuubas who have become friends. NijiID can sometimes collab with HoloID but that's more because they're the clear bottom (most of them are literal 2view tier) and mirror the dynamic between 2019 Niji-Holo only in reverse. The EN market has a different landscape however. Niji is definitely way below HoloEN but their not exactly 2view tier. They're currently not anywhere good enough to threaten HoloEN's standing. BUT they are good enough that if they catch some insane breaks that they might turn into actual competition, like how Holo suddenly put Nijisanji on notice back in early 2020 and Nijisanji was slow as shit to react that they allowed Hololive to claim the global audience.
