There are vampires, otherworldly girls, idols, foxes, robots, maids, demons, witches, wolves, cats, dogs, elves, knights, pirates, necromancers, angels, dragons, demons, sheep, princesses, fennecs, white lions, squirrels, aliens, mafia, zombies, sharks, detectives, tengu, phoenixes, peacocks, but no black people.

So Netflix turned Jet black in their Cowboy Bebop adaptation because there's "demand" for miscasting...? Marvel cast a black actor for fucking Heimdall because there's "demand" for cultural appropriation? BBC has a series with black King Arthur because of "demand" for looking at people with black skin? There will be many popular black Vtubers in the future, you can be sure of that. They're getting more and more popular with normalfags, and once the big money moves in and takes hold of the industry, half of them with be black, because, you know.

vtubing is a Japanese aesthetic, black people are almost never in anime or any other Japanese media so it looks weird seeing them in this form. Its the reason why Flare/Sana are literally at the bottom of subs, even just a hint of non-whiteness is enough of a turnoff.

People want equal representation in media despite unequal population demographics. This goes for race, sexuality, what have you.
I wouldn't mind a good vtuber that happens to be black, but to have a black vtuber for the sake of having one devalues both the black community and makes a joke out of vtubers as a whole. I despise most of the current western media for this reason, and I'm black and hispanic.
